Hard times .

So the last few weeks for me have been hard. As a young pastor I have never thought that I could learn the things I have so fast. Yesterday morning a man that has helped me grow in my walk with Christ and a man that I have looked up to as Pastor of the church stood before us and layed himself down as a sacrifice. After months of people beating him up he felt God calling him to back down as our lead pastor and move on. First let me say that I feel honored to have worked under him and learn the things that I have. Now comes the hard times at the church.

Now we as the church are in a hard place and time. There are people with hurt feelings and anger towards there brothers and sisters in Christ. I hate to have to put that down but it is the truth. People are wanting to jump ship because of this as well. When I sit and pray and ask God what to do all He says is to stay and do what needs to be done. During this time I feel like Orlando Blooms character in Kingdom Of Heaven. He was young but was called to step up and fight. I am here to step up and fight if it needs to be done.

God does not call us as leaders to put our tails between our legs and run. He calls us to step up and lead His people. So here we go. My Paul is gone and now it is time for a Timothy to step up and do What God calls the church to do. Please keep us as a church in your prayers and may our God be glorified in this.
