He was first a servant before the King.

5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! 9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phil 2:5-11)

As I read this I can only stop and think that being a servant and humble is a must for us as Christians. Whenever I read about who Christ was the first thing ,before anything, It is said that He was a servant. We are called to be like Christ in everything in our lives but we don't. We are such a selfish world. It has to be all about me and what I want.

What are you going to do? I think that we need to stop calling ourselves Christians if we are not going to be Christ like. If we are not willing to be humble and selfish then how can we be a Christ follower? So it is up to you.
