Hard cover bible or Computer ?

As I sit here and listen to pastors who love the gospel read from there bibles a thought jumps in my heart. The thought is ,What happened to the view of the bible (being holy and from God) ?

When I look around at a lot of churches today they do not read Scripture from the bible in hand. It is on PowerPoint or from there computer or better yet there ipod. Also when they read it they do not make a deal out of it. It is like they are just reading another book from there selves.

When I grew up my grandpa always held the bible in hand and read from it. I do that today every time I preach as well. So what happened to that view point?

I think what happened is that churches want to make people more comfortable rather then showing that there is a holiness about God's Word.

These are just my thoughts. Sometimes there are things like this that bug me about seeker friendly churches to . Just a thought.
